Employment Opportunity: Distance Learning Program Director, Management Education, CHA Learning

CHA Learning is dedicated to providing education opportunities to Canadian health service providers regardless of their geographical locations.

CHA Learning is seeking a Program Director to lead its programs in the areas of health services management, long term care/continuing care, continuous quality improvement and risk management. The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of program curricula, organizing an annual five day intramural (in class) session in Ottawa for students, managing assignment markers, group supervision of staff and ensuring the quality of the programs and services.

This role requires a graduate degree, preferably in health sciences, administration or education or a combination of relevant education and experience; a minimum of three years of experience in service delivery and/or management; excellent writing skills and a broad knowledge of the education and health services sectors. Experience in the application of adult learning principles and the use of technology to enhance learning, is essential. Bilingualism is an asset.

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
